Dhan Ta Nan

Revolutionists, capitalists, socialists, 14th August nationalists... fans of Zaid Hamid, Zakir Naik and Beyonce... Hajis and moulvis and percussionists... Strippers of Madonna and guardians of Sakeena.. Jeans with light kurta and heels in tight burqa... Lesser humans, greater angels... Whiter blacks and blacker whites...

I think I've said too much... but haven't said it all.

Urdu is my national language, English is the official. Provincially, I'm Sindhi and religiously I'm an Arab. My mother comes from a Bengali-Urdu background and my father speaks Gujarati. I'm learning French and sometimes like to watch Hindi movies...

Sounds Wow?

Tell me, isn't it a shame that I don't have command even over ONE of these languages?

We are good people, I don't question this. And I agree that culture is a blend of so many dimensions... but aisa bhi kiya!

.....

I believe, what we take... doesn't shape our destiny,

What we leave...

Does.

Don't we leave what we've already taken and then take what we left?

Doesn't it actually CONFUSE our destiny?

Your father speaks gujrati?..you never gave me that little information!....hmmm...Now having command on language is not our real goal! Our goal is to learn! Chinese say " may you live in interesting times!"

Well I am Sindhi and I knw english urdu and thank god i have good command on languages, I not nationalist nor was in favor of it, this partition was not in my hand so I should think of me, both of my parents are sindhi and I am proud of who i am and my forefathers, what you believe in what it takes doesnt shape our destiny , instead what we leave ... Read Moredoes, I disagree.

I know only one Allah none other in this entire universe not even myself, knowingness and knowledge was already was inside of me ( SOUL ) ( ALLAH ) i just been exploring it time after time and knowing myself existence has no crime but my fate has so much to show and change destiny i control with my illuision of faith !

Confusing, boring and not surprising. Change is good. You are not changing. Same old critical view, stuff you believe about. You are good when it comes to writing but what you're writing is nothing new! And for God's sake, lighten up a little. Make a joke or two on Tiger Woods and his numerous whores. Cliche? Maybe. But hey, it works.

You should know who I am.
